Welcome to the WCYO Supporters Portal

WCYO has many partnerships, supporters and people who believe in what we do and testify the differences we make in the West Coast communities. We continue and strive to enrich the lives of young people and communities through music, education and all our ongoing programs, especially those who never had the opportunities before. We offer opportunities in careers, performing and various other artistic fields and drive our Outreach and Development programmes with enthusiasm and outstanding achievements.

We at West Coast Youth Orchestra are truly grateful for the support we are receiving from the following music education institutions, organisations, partners and affiliates and salute them for believing in our vision and sharing our passion. With their help, we are striving to make a difference to the communities we serve. We are proud to call them our friends. Without their support it would not have been possible for us to enrich the lives of young people in the West Coast region through music, and to provide them with performance and career opportunities.

Message from the Director

It is a privilege and honour to be part of the West Coast Youth Orchestra, and I will continue to strive to build WCYO as the most prestigious orchestra programme on the West Coast. I believe that “The true purpose of music education is not necessarily to create more professional musicians or performers, BUT to create more complete human beings, who are critical thinkers, have curious minds and can lead productive lives after school.”

Message from the Chairman of the West Coast Youth Orchestra

I am proud to be actively involved in the West Coast Youth Orchestra. It is a privilege to work with our dedicated team, to help our students thrive and evolve in self-confident musicians. Our music education programmes play a vital role in the West Coast communities, whether large or small, and we must support our students’ artistic growth, social development and personal needs. Carina and I are both fully committed to the expansion of our WCYO Educational programmes, which is already firmly established in the West Coast. We fully support our Staff and students, involved in the growing and increasing programmes all over the West Coast.
