2016
Carina Brown received the 2015 Ministerial Award Winner by Western Cape Department of Arts & Culture for her contributions in the Arts Sector.
2017

  • Bronze Award Winner at The Impumelelo Social Innovations Awards. Impumelelo is a leading awards programme in South Africa, rewarding excellence and innovators who find creative solutions to public & social cohesion problems.
  • Carina Brown is nominated and shortlisted for a Cultural Award for Contribution to the Performing Art of Music by the Western Cape Government, Cultural Affairs & Sports Department.

2018
Won a Saldanha Bay Municipality Youth Community Award on April the 13th.

Department of Cultural Affairs Award 2017/2018

Won a Saldanha Bay Municipality Youth Community Award on 13 April 2018 for the Best contribution to the Performing Arts:Music.

Minister's Award: Western Cape

9 February 2015: Carina Brown received The Minister’s Special Award for Outstanding Achievement for Women in the Arts and Culture of the Western Cape Department of Arts & Culture for her contributions in the Arts Sector.

European Youth Orchestra Festival

The SENIOR West Coast Youth Orchestra received 80% and Junior WCYO 72% in the European Youth Music Festival, in Bratislava – Slovakia 05 to 07 July 2017
